THOMAS JEFFERYS FOUR 18TH CENTURY HAND COLORED ENGRAVINGS

Four hand-colored copper engraved plates on watermarked laid paper. From A Collection of the Dresses of Different Nations, Antient and Modern (Recueil des Habillements, etc.), published in four volumes by Thomas Jefferys: London, 1757-1772. Mild toning to the extreme edges of the untrimmed sheets (not visible under mats), a few, small, stray specks and spots. A handsome set of these copperplate engravings, rarely found colored and untrimmed. Framed measurements are about 16" by 13".
